We usually have sweet potatoes in our home, and here is a foolproof way of baking potatoes in your oven. It takes some time but very little effort.
- Wash the outsides of your potatoes.
- Prick the potatoes all over (I use a fork).
- Wrap the potatoes tightly in foil. (This will help the oozing of the natural sugar from the potatoes to stay within the foil)
- Place it in the oven at 400 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
We love serving it with a pat of butter, dash of cinnamon, and a sprinkling of brown sugar.
Note: If you are baking these to go with meatloaf, I just use the meatloaf's temperature and cook it for the length of time the meatloaf cooks.
